New version 72 of WOCU-Monitoring
We are pleased to announce WOCU-Monitoring Release 72, an update focused on improving platform stability, security, and usability.
This release introduces enhancements to the Observability AI Assistant, strengthens access controls, and resolves several issues affecting dashboards, configuration management, and multi-realm environments.
Improved Observability AI Assistant Experience
Release 72 brings several improvements to the Observability AI Assistant, making interactions more reliable and intuitive.
Conversations now remain active while the assistant generates a response, even when users temporarily navigate to another view. This prevents questions and responses in progress from being lost.
The chat interface also features improved keyboard controls, while the connector selector now displays only compatible inference connectors.
Additionally, an issue affecting the AI-based action available for monitored services has been resolved.
Enhanced Security and Access Control
Security improvements include restricting access to Health data endpoints by moving them from the public API to the platform’s private API.
Permissions for viewing and editing pending passive services have also been corrected to ensure that the appropriate access controls are applied.
These changes reinforce the platform’s security and improve consistency in permission management.
More Reliable Dashboards and Monitoring Views
Several improvements have been introduced to enhance the monitoring experience.
Issues affecting the Health and Anomalies dashboards in multi-realm environments have been resolved, improving the retrieval and display of information across different monitoring environments.
The Metrics Host selector in the Status view now includes host names, making it easier to identify the devices associated with the displayed metrics.
Event Logs also benefits from corrections to row expansion, allowing users to access event details more reliably.
Configuration and Integration Improvements
The GConf module now supports case-insensitive searches for configuration templates and files, making it easier to locate configuration resources. Incorrect 404 notifications that appeared during certain operations have also been removed.
Other improvements include compatibility with multiple credentials in the Aruba dashboard, support for storing multiple logos, and Redis authentication configuration for Django Channels.
Continuous Improvement of WOCU-Monitoring
With Release 72, WOCU-Monitoring continues to refine the capabilities introduced in previous versions, focusing on a more secure, consistent, and reliable user experience.
These enhancements help IT teams work more efficiently across monitoring, observability, and configuration management workflows.
