New version 69 of WOCU-Monitoring
We are pleased to announce the release of WOCU-Monitoring version 69, a new update focused on enhancing scalability, improving operational visibility, and expanding integration and automation capabilities.
This version introduces significant improvements across multiple areas of the platform, including architecture evolution, API enhancements, advanced notification capabilities, and new visualization tools, along with new monitoring packs and operational features designed to streamline day-to-day management.
As always, this release is driven by user feedback and real operational needs, reinforcing WOCU as a powerful and flexible monitoring solution.
Main new features
1. Scalable and highly available architecture
One of the most important milestones in this release is the evolution towards a more scalable and resilient architecture:
- Introduction of a MySQL Cluster as the centralized data persistence layer
- High availability and horizontal scalability for database operations
- Distributed aggregator service with load balancing
- Seamless integration of monitoring systems with the cluster

This improvement ensures better performance, fault tolerance, and readiness for large-scale environments.
2. New API capabilities and enhanced security
The Public API has been extended with new functionalities that improve both data access and security:
- New endpoint to retrieve Hosts and Services status by Realm
- Expanded data model including:
- Alias, Display Name, Groups, Tags, Business Impact
- Performance data for both Hosts and Services
Additionally, JWT-based authentication has been implemented:
- Secure token-based access
- Token expiration control (1 hour)
- Mandatory authorization via Bearer token
These changes provide a more robust, secure, and complete integration layer.
3. Advanced multichannel notifications
Notifications have been significantly enhanced to provide richer and more actionable information across all channels.

Channels like Slack, Discord, Telegram, and Demisto now include:
- Custom notification messages with macros
- Service pack information
- Hostgroups, realms, and related context
- Latest events and additional asset data
This ensures a consistent and detailed notification experience, no longer limited to email.
4. Evolution of the Status view and visualization
The Status view continues to evolve with new capabilities for custom dashboards and visualization:
- New Geomap widget for geolocated infrastructure visualization
- Creation and management of multiple widget views (public/private)

- New view selector and carousel mode for automated display rotation
- Options to hide or pin global controls for better usability
These enhancements allow users to build more dynamic, customizable, and focused dashboards.
5. Bulk operations and configuration improvements (GConf)
Configuration management capabilities have been extended:

- Bulk sending of devices to GConf directly from Monitored Assets
- Automatic registration in the Device Inventory
- New filters in scheduled tasks:
- Model, Technology, Version
- New task types like Bulk Push via CSV
This enables faster, more precise, and scalable configuration workflows.
6. Incident management on devices
A new feature allows registering incidents directly on monitored devices, improving traceability and operational context:
- Link external tickets (ID and URL)
- Include author, message, and incident type
- Centralize incident history within each device
This strengthens the integration between monitoring and incident management processes.
7. Custom login disclaimer banner
A new customizable login disclaimer has been added:
- Display messages after user login
- Ideal for legal notices, security policies, or operational alerts
- Fully configurable by administrators
This ensures important information is clearly communicated to users.
Keep improving your monitoring strategy
With version 69, WOCU-Monitoring takes another step forward in delivering a platform that is more scalable, secure, and aligned with real operational workflows.
From architecture improvements to richer notifications and advanced visualization, this release is designed to help teams monitor more efficiently and act faster.
