This document outlines the new features, functionalities, improvements, and fixes integrated into version 56 of WOCU-Monitoring, addressing the requests and suggestions of our users and current market needs.
Continuing the comprehensive monitoring approach that
WOCU-Monitoring supports, this version focuses on
further enhancing passive monitoring.
Among other developments, it is now possible to define the initial availability state of each new passive service until a state change occurs (or not).

Another related point is the identification of these types of services
in global listings for informative and visual assistance, given the significant number of
elements managed within them.

Furthermore, a significant portion of our efforts has been devoted to the new Notification System for Contacts, a space where operators define customized notification channels to associate with various contact profiles. This involves configuring specific notification time periods and specifying which types of events trigger an alert and which do not.

In parallel, work has been done on designing and unifying a catalog of proprietary error codes, to help operators understand the nature of the error delivered and act accordingly.

Last but not least, it is now possible to check the status of the contracted license from within the application.
The Administrator will have updated information about the current license.
