This document outlines the new
features, functionalities, improvements, and fixes integrated into the
version 50 of WOCU-Monitoring, addressing the
requests and suggestions of our users and the current market needs.
Committed to always providing an optimal
user experience, this version introduces a new
Realm selector
that facilitates its change from any point in the application without the need
to navigate back to the
aggregation page.
In harmony, the
Services Inventory
has been equipped with a new option for
filtering by Device availability status types,
for which monitoring services are wanted to be visualized. Additionally, the user can manage all
applied search and filter options on the inventory from the
new applied filters display feature.
The identifying icons for technologies,
manufacturers, usage patterns, etc., are back in this version thanks to the
inclusion of the Behaviour field
added in the detailed view of
Host,
listing all icons associated with monitoring services and
Device monitoring packs.
A new control and restriction measure is incorporated, which
blocks the deletion action of elements associated with Business Processes.
Thus, any element linked to a Host Business Process or Service Business Process will be frozen by the system, as its deletion could leave orphaned elements. This new condition will be indicated through the
Protected column
in the Active Assets table and with the new informational action in the Junk Assets table.
This is not all; details of the
Diagnostic Tool
continue to be refined with new configuration parameters, custom
Monitoring Packs
development, and various refactorings promising a more homogeneous and cohesive design.
In addition to the new features described
in the previous sections, this new version brings many changes to its
base system.
