This document outlines the new
features, functionalities, improvements, and fixes integrated into the
version 49 of WOCU-Monitoring, addressing the
requests and suggestions of our users and the current market needs.
Continuing from the previous
release, we present a
new page listing all assets that are members of a group, incorporated into the
Host Groups Modal, where besides knowing the anatomy of the group, many additional particulars are exposed.
Similarly, the recent
Diagnostic Tool
adds
UDP (User Datagram Protocol) support in the Port Scan process, enhancing its scope.
Design and usability are allied concepts that predominate in every space of the solution; therefore, new filtering options have been added for:
- Assets geolocated by Monitoring Packs
- Services by Availability Status type
- Nested objects in the Events viewer
Additionally, the system
will highlight applied filters
to easily see the criteria restricting the page.
Work has also been done on designing a
new Import Task
with a different approach to existing ones, focusing on
streamlining massive asset deletion processes through reading a CSV file.
Regarding other internal changes not
visible but worth noting, a
endpoint for asset inventory insertion has been developed,
Monitoring Packs Catalog has continued to expand,
and the new
ability to log actions performed in the tool
for subsequent audits, among others.
All these changes are aimed at improving
the performance, stability, and security necessary to
drive processes and services of the monitored infrastructure.
