WOCU-Monitoring has been in production
environments for years, surpassing its beta condition, hence the version jump from version 0.45 to version 46.
The new versionWOCU-Monitoring 46 comes loaded with novelties and improvements
addressing the requests and suggestions of our users and the
current market needs.
Our catalog of
Monitoring Packs,
as an inherent part of the tool, has been the main protagonist in this version. Its value and usability have been exploited in different ways:
- Displaying identifying icons of technologies associated with Packs in each Device detail modal.
- Adding informative labels of applied Packs in multiple Device views. This integration is complemented by the inclusion of labels related to
Configuration Templates
used.
At a glance, you can learn the
details of the monitoring and configuration profile of each element
in WOCU-Monitoring.
As internal improvements of the tool,
work has been done on
increasing performance in queries to the monitoring backend, with several introduced changes that will improve both, the much smoother user experience and the overall stability of the solution by reducing general system load.
WOCU-Monitoring was already capable
of importing Device Groups and Device Business Processes and Services indistinctly. Thus, in this version, a
new subsection for each of the above types has been created,
to house, manage, and configure these elements graphically prior to monitoring.
Also noteworthy is the release of the
new OSE (Open Source Edition) version
of WOCU-Monitoring, a version based entirely on
open-source software and that has
enough power to monitor infrastructures optimally and
from a single interface.
We continue to combine reliability, granularity, and
speed in each new version, integrating powerful features and
improving services. Get to know in depth the complete list of
novelties at the following link.
