We continue to work on a unified and homogeneous monitoring approach. WOCU Monitoring is an all-in-one tool, where all information regarding the state, performance, and capacity of the monitored infrastructure is integrated into a single console.
Traceability
In terms of security, this time we have worked on the monitoring capability of attempts to access the tool. Aware of WOCU’s exposure on the internet, it was necessary to work on
access traceability to detect failed authentications and take action by blocking accounts accordingly.
New Performance Data View
Therefore, in this version, the new
Performance view is added, where all monitoring metrics along with their performance values are collected, recorded by each service, as a result of continuous checks in terms of operability towards network elements.
Updated Inventory
In relation to the
Inventory module of asset data and attributes, WOCU is now able to detect
links in inventory values and make them
clickable. Another functionality with which one of the most powerful modules of the tool continues to be optimized.
Although in the previous version the
Differences action was incorporated for devices located in the pending list, it has been improved by incorporating a new table where the configuration Macros that have been recently updated are broken down.
Customize Your Problem Console
The sorting method of two of the most relevant columns in the Alarm (Problems) tables has also been modified:
Impact and
Duration. These fields are closely related and will allow the operator to more quickly resolve alerts based on the assigned impact.
Adding Another Use Case
We continue to enrich our User Manual with a new use case on how to make the most of Passive Monitoring in WOCU, through the application of a specific pack.
Don’t forget to read the post we made to
Alert about passive monitoring events.
New Monitoring Packs
In addition, new improvements have been added to the configuration API, and we continue to add value to our
Monitoring Packs catalog, both by adding new packs and monitoring services, and by supporting new technologies and manufacturers.
But There’s More…
This version comes loaded with new integrations and improvements, keep reading and discover the
