WOCU-Monitoring 68: More Control, Greater Visibility, and Faster Operations
The new WOCU-Monitoring 68 release is now available, bringing improvements designed to simplify day-to-day monitoring management, increase infrastructure visibility, and make configuration and event analysis more efficient.
This update introduces new capabilities that allow operators to work more efficiently with monitored devices, better organize infrastructure assets, and strengthen integration with security tools.
Below are the main highlights of this new version.
Configuration Snapshots Directly from the Check Process
After running a configuration check, operators can generate a snapshot from the WOCU Config Summary view, capturing the exact configuration state at that moment.
This makes it possible to:
-
Maintain a clear configuration history.
-
Compare system states across different points in time.
-
Quickly identify changes that may affect infrastructure performance.
This feature is particularly valuable in environments where change control and traceability are critical.

Faster Operational Actions on Hosts and Services
This release also improves daily operations by allowing users to execute actions directly from host and service views.
Using the new Action button, operators can perform common tasks without leaving the device or service view, such as:
-
Acknowledging incidents
-
Adding comments
-
Reviewing related events
-
Scheduling maintenance windows
This reduces the number of steps required for routine tasks and streamlines operational workflows.

Quickly Identify Unstable Elements with the Flapping Filter
The Flapping state identifies hosts or services that frequently change status within a short period of time, which often indicates intermittent issues.
With this new filter, operators can quickly detect unstable elements and prioritize troubleshooting efforts.
Favourite Filters with Public or Private Visibility
The Favourite Filters feature has been enhanced to better support collaborative environments.

From this version onwards, each filter can be configured with a visibility level:
-
Private: visible only to the user who created it.
-
Public: accessible to all users in the environment.
This allows teams to share useful filters across operators or keep personalized filters for individual workflows.
Improved Integration with SIEM Platforms
Version 68 also introduces improvements in security logging, optimizing log structure to facilitate integration with SIEM platforms.
With this enhancement, organizations can more easily:
-
Centralize security-related events.
-
Correlate monitoring data with other cybersecurity tools.
-
Strengthen auditing and compliance processes.
Bulk Tag Management for Hosts
In large infrastructures, asset organization becomes essential.
For this reason, this release introduces the ability to apply tags to multiple hosts in bulk, making it easier to categorize and segment monitored infrastructure.
This capability improves asset organization, filtering, and overall management of large-scale monitoring environments.

With this new release, WOCU-Monitoring continues evolving to provide a more powerful, flexible monitoring platform ready to manage increasingly complex IT infrastructures.
