New WOCU-Monitoring version 62: Automation and advanced collection sources.
The latest update of WOCU-Monitoring brings a set of enhancements and new features designed to optimize the user experience, respond to market needs and take advantage of the latest technology trends. Here is a detailed summary of what’s included in this release:
Automatic configuration management
WOCU-Monitoring now allows asset configuration changes – whether additions, deletions or modifications – to be applied automatically and in real time. This eliminates the need to reboot the system, which saves time and improves efficiency. This enhancement also includes new widgets that provide a clear view of configuration status and summarize changes made.
Agent-based monitoring
Thanks to this new data collection source, WOCU-Monitoring is 100% integrated with Windows, Debian and RedHat servers. The capacity to collect data is substantially increased as well as the complexity of the data collection. It also performs more efficiently and securely.
Improved management of passive services
Two new unique views are added to the monitored and pending assets sections, offering a more efficient way to manage passive services. You can now manage these services, create new ones and edit them before linking them to devices, all from a more intuitive and orderly interface.
Receiving asynchronous events via public API
It is now possible to receive events from external systems in a secure way thanks to a new public API authenticated by keys. This functionality not only optimizes event processing, but also reduces latency and improves system scalability.
Automation with the Gconf module
WOCU-Monitoring’s mass configuration system evolves with the introduction of customizable templates. These act as templates that facilitate the application of configurations to several devices at the same time. In addition, traceability has been improved with a new audit section that records every action, who performed it and when.
In addition, multiple visualization improvements have been introduced, with more KPIs and new, more powerful filters. In this new version, we have three additional integrations for equipment from Huawei, Extreme Networks, APC and HWgroup.
In summary, WOCU-Monitoring v62 reinforces its position as a key tool for IoT observability and monitoring, with enhancements that address the scalability, security and flexibility needed in connected environments.
