We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our team. As part of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing robust and scalable functionality using Python. You will work in collaboration with other developers, engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
We are looking for people who have:
Development and integration of new connectors and interfaces with external platforms (MQTT, Meraki, Elastic, Azure AD, third-party APIs).
Implementation of backend features (Django/Python), including authentication, role-based access control, and multi-tenant management (realms).
Instrumentation of backend services using OpenTelemetry and exporting metrics/traces to Elastic.
Technical design of integrations focused on observability (metrics, events, inventory).
Performance optimization and scalability improvements in data pipelines (Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL).
Development of secure REST APIs (role segmentation, external authentication, configuration management).
Writing automated tests (unit and integration) and related technical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer (Python).
Hands-on experience with Django (beyond tutorials).
Experience building complex REST APIs (authentication, permissions, versioning).
Docker in production environments.
Git.
Elasticsearch / ELK stack (indexing, queries, optimization).
MySQL and Redis in production environments.
Intermediate Linux skills (service debugging, logs, processes).
Knowledge of or experience with OpenTelemetry (OTel): instrumentation, traces, metrics, and logs.
Experience or knowledge in communications and monitoring:
Network devices (switches, firewalls, SD-WAN).
Protocols such as SNMP, MQTT, or cloud APIs (Meraki, etc.).
Observability systems (logs, metrics, events).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Integration with external systems (REST, MQTT, OAuth2, SAML, Azure AD).
- Experience in monitoring or observability environments.
- Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, SNMP, devices such as Meraki, Cisco, Fortinet).
- Data pipelines or event/metrics ingestion.
- CI/CD (GitLab CI or similar).
- Multi-tenant architectures.
